Pastor Doug Jackson
Pastor Douglas R. Jackson has been Senior Pastor of Community Baptist Church in Saginaw, Michigan since 1978. Under his ministry, the church has had considerable growth. He has an enthusiastic, dynamic style of preaching that God has used to challenge all ages.In 1981, Dr. Jackson founded the Community Baptist Christian School. Pastor Jackson graduated from Marantha Baptist University (MBU) in the first four-year graduating class in 1972. He serves on several boards including: Maranatha Baptist University; Michigan Association of Christian Schools (M.A.C.S.); Baptist World Missions; and Independent Fundamental Baptist Fellowship of Michigan. He and Kathy have been happily married since June 19, 1971 and have 3 children Kristina, Katrina, and Clint, as well as 5 grand children: Jackson, Katelyn, Wil, Autumn, and Caleb. Pastor enjoys spending time with his grand children, fishing, golfing, and preaching God’s Word.
Pastor Todd Savage
Assistant Pastor Todd Savage, a graduate of MBU (1990), began his ministry here at CBC in September 1990. Pastor Todd is involved in various ministries at CBC. He is an Adult Sunday School teacher; works in the Bus Ministry; coaches mens softball; teaches 5/6th Grade; he is the Varsity Boys Basketball coach, and is the Athletic Director of CBCS. He and Jenny have been married since July 12, 1991, and have two children: Ashli (Keith Adams) and Austin. Pastor Todd enjoys watching the Detroit Red Wings hockey, and enjoys playing football. However, his favorite team is the maize and blue Michigan Wolverine Football team. His life verse is Psalm 100:2.
Pastor Daniel Bonner
Assistant Pastor Daniel Bonner, a graduate of MBU (2006), M.A. Biblical Studies (2019) MBU, began his ministry here at CBC in January 2006. Pastor Dan is involved with various ministries: Principal at CBCS, Secondary Ed. Teacher, Bus Captain, and Website Manager. He and his wife Katrina have been married since January 7, 2006 and have three children: Katelyn, Autumn, and Caleb. He loves being home and playing outside with his young family. His favorite hobbies are hunting, fishing, golfing, and water skiing.
Music Minister:
Justin Risinger
Justin Risinger, a graduate of Ambassador Baptist College (2019), began his ministry at CBC in the August of 2019. He is actively involved with CBCS and the music ministry at CBC. He also can be found teaching Bible and Choir at CBCS. He enjoys coaching JV soccer and basketball. Justin and his wife Ellie have been married since August 3, 2019; they have a new baby boy named Cody. His favorite hobbies include anything sports related, especially playing basketball and watching Boston sports.
