Pastor Douglas Jackson
Pastor Douglas R. Jackson has been Senior Pastor of Community Baptist Church in Saginaw, Michigan since 1978. Under his ministry, the church has had considerable growth. He has an enthusiastic, dynamic style of preaching that God has used to challenge all ages.In 1981, Dr. Jackson founded the Community Baptist Christian School. Pastor Jackson graduated from Marantha Baptist University (MBU) in the first four-year graduating class in 1972. He serves on several boards including: Maranatha Baptist University; Michigan Association of Christian Schools (M.A.C.S.); Baptist World Missions; and Independent Fundamental Baptist Fellowship of Michigan. He and Kathy have been happily married since June 19, 1971 and have 3 children Kristina, Katrina, and Clint, as well as 5 grand children: Jackson, Katelyn, Will, Autumn, and Caleb. Pastor enjoys spending time with his grandchildren, fishing, golfing, and preaching God’s Word.
Pastor Justin Risinger
Assistant Pastor Justin Risinger, a graduate of Ambassador Baptist College (2019), began his ministry at CBC in August of 2019. He is the Principal at Community Baptist Christian School and the Music Pastor for Community Baptist Church. He can also be found teaching History and various music classes at CBCS. He enjoys coaching varsity basketball and golf. Justin and his wife Ellie have been married since August 3, 2019; they have two small children: Cody and Aubrey. He enjoys being outside with his kids, playing sports, and landscaping.
Pastor Jordan Carpenter
Assistant Pastor Jordan Carpenter, a graduate of Pensacola Christian College (2017), began his ministry here at CBC in February 2024. Pastor Jordan is actively involved with CBCS and the teen youth group at CBC. He is also the JV basketball coach. He and his wife, Emily, have been married since June 3, 2017; they have three small children: Grayson, Tucker, and Beckett. Jordan enjoys spending time with his boys, hunting, golfing, or enjoying sport related activities.

Scotty Dennis
Assistant Pastor Scotty Dennis, a graduate of West Coast Baptist College (2024), began his ministry at CBC in June of 2024. Scotty graduated with a degree in Evangelism. He is the Children's Pastor and is actively involved at CBCS teaching Bible and Speech. Scotty and his wife Mikayla have been married since June 2, 2023, and have one little girl, Brooklynn. His favorite hobbies include watching the Lions, hiking, camping, and drawing.
